Diesel Said: Not Actually as Advertised ( Aug. 25th 2010 )

I was excited to be able to purchase a 9375 Watt generator for the price I paid. However the unit is only 7500 Watts, the peak output is around 8500 Watts. The higher Wat was prominent in the add. I figured it out but still bot it. It is not quiet as your average HONDA but it was advertised as "quiet and blends with background, balogna !!! but at that price its good enough I guess. Seems to be a solid machine, we'll see in the spring after all the power outages nature will provide.

Thomas G. Andry Said: So far so good ( Jul. 20th 2010 )

Received the generator in a box on a pallet. It came relatively quick. I found the assembly directions somewhat confusing but my adult son was there and he helped wiz through the assembly. Some washers were missing out of the packet of parts but it still went together OK. Within a couple of days we lost power and had to use the generator. It started right up. I find this generator quieter than the previous one I had that died after 2 years of very low usage. Hope this one lasts longer. I have exercised the generator (run it for about 15 min) a couple of times and it starts right up with the electric start. I like having a pull start just in case. So far so good.

Jim in Chicago Said: Very impressed! ( Jul. 9th 2010 )

Purchased this thru Amazon and have to say the whole process was pleasant. The generator arrived two days earlier than expected via ABF Freight, the driver had a liftgate on his trailer and rolled it right into my garage, nice driver to boot. I opened the box and had it all assembled in about 45 minutes. After running to the local big box store for Mobil 1 synthetic oil and a "real" funnel, I filled it with some gas and hit the start button. It quickly fired up and once warm I shut off the choke and it purred like a kitten. So far I'm very impressed. The week prior to ordering I had installed a 10 circuit Reliance Controls manual transfer switch for powering up just about the whole house. I wheeled the Gen to the back yard and plugged it into the power inlet box on the outside of the house . I started it up, went downstairs and transferred the load from the utility line to the generator. This Honeywell generator didn't even skip a beat. I turned on everything and it wasn't even breathing hard. The rpm's would go down a little when my ejector pit ,fridge, toaster oven and sump pump would go on but, for just a second. It's pretty quiet for such a large generator and once I closed the back door with every thing running in the house my son commented that you would never know we were on gen power. My plasma TV and computer worked with no problems as well. I would highly recommend this generator to anyone that asked me. What peace of mind knowing a power outage will not affect us anymore.

The Widow Said: Love this machine! ( Mar. 3rd 2010 )

I am a woman alone and I wheel this generator out of my garage, fill it will gasoline and start it up with no problem.
I am all wired legally in the cellar.
I wasn't aware of any other shut off procedures aside from pressing the toggle switch, I guess I'll have to read the book!
I used it for four days during the freak 'hurricane' we had in NH recently.

Kubota Said: Honeyell Generator ( Dec. 26th 2009 )

I purchased this generator in 2008 and did not have to use it. It arrived damaged and amazon sent a new one out no questions asked. This year however I have had to run it over 30 hours due to bad weather. I am very pleased with amazon and this generator it's not a Honda, but for the price it can't be beat. The only issue I have had so far is with the spark arrester cloging up other than that no problems.
