The electric generator will be driven by a pendulum, falling due to gravity.

The pendulum weights no more than a few grams, and is about 1 inch long.

It doesnt matter to me how much current the generator produces, 1.5 mA will be fine. But it must produce 0.3-0.35 volts over the time that the pendulum is driving the generator (while it is falling)... that will be about 1.5-2 seconds.

I want the generator to be as low friction as possible, so the pendulum can rotate as far as possible around in a circle, then the pendulum will simply fall back down and will stop producing electricity. It is essentially turning potential energy into kinetic energy into electrical energy.

Does anyone know where I could get such a electric motor or generator that would accomplish this?! Thanks for your help!!

I'm 16 and I know quite a bit about schematics and things other electrical engineers know, and my personal conclusion is that this is fake.
I think its fake because the two capacitors on the right are labeled positive and negative but yet, the left 2 have no polarity.
If anyone is interested in seeing the schematic, its at the end of the video.
I was thinking about putting it together.

Without permission from the power company? I know it's probably illegal, but Arkansas has the worst rules regarding this and it's not worth it to do it legally because they make you pay for a special meter, plus additional monthly charges, and then they pay you almost nothing for any power you send back to the grid. So it's pretty clear that they don't want you to do it. What I would like to do is set up PV solar cells to produce about 1 kW max, then just hook this into my system in parallel. This will (I think) offset some of my consumption during the day, and also give me something to run my refrigerator, freezer, and well pump (one at a time) when the power goes out, which it frequently does in this remote location.
I am also a little worried about undervoltage on these appliances. Will I need UV protection breakers for them? (expensive) And what happens if I am not consuming enough of the solar production? Will something burn out, or will voltage go too high? I know how voltage regulators work on mechanical generators, but have no idea what is going on with solar panels.
Yeah, I am an engineer so don't assume that I'm stupid. I am just ignorant about solar cells and electronic power inverters.
OK, this really helps. I really wanted to avoid having a battery bank though, because it's expensive and troublesome to maintain. I may be better off to just get a small gasoline-powered generator for emergencies.
I hadn't considered synchronization, as the power supply is only single-phase 220v. I now see, however, that there would be a frequency difference between my output and true sinusoidal 60 hz power. (I'm familiar with synchronization of 3 phase power systems, but not this.) Thanks, guys.

I'm thinking about buying this nice property with a one-room loft cabin for summer/getaways.. awesome in every respect except the fact that there's no electrical service for miles around. The electric company said it'll be $20,000 to get grid power over there, in addition to monthly bills.

Let's say I have a refrigerator, desktop computer, lights, water pump (not always on), washing machine (not always on), and some fans for hot days.

How much wattage worth of solar panels, and what wattage of inverter, would I need to comfortably power it? I'll have a generator that I can use, say, once a week to power the heavier stuff, but I'll be using the rest of it daily.
